Since I mentioned our Pompeii tour in the Naples post a couple days ago I thought I should follow up with some photos. It was VERY hot that day (but probably not as hot as Dallas this past month) and very crowded. I think this would be a much better tour during the off season but we still enjoyed seeing the ruins.
There was so much more to see than was included in our half-day tour. Not sure we could have stayed out in the sun and heat any longer anyway. The girls (and Wowa) just wanted some A/C and some more water. And with so many people there it was hard to hear the guide and really get a good look at some of the ruins. Not sure we'll ever get back. Guess it's one more thing I need to read about.
