We have traveled alot this summer - 2 weeks on our cruise and in Spain, 1 week visiting family in Indiana and Ohio, 6 days visiting colleges, and finally Frank and I took a weekend without children in LA/San Diego. Sarah and Chris purchased tickets to a Padres game from the St. Monica auction and invited Frank and I to come along. We rounded out the weekend with a trip to the beach at Coronado Island, a visit to Del Mar racetrack, a Dodgers game, and a stroll on Venice Beach.

It was very nice to have a relaxing, busy weekend. Without tired, hungry, grouchy, demanding children along we enjoyed doing lots of stuff and a little bit of nothing.
